WT-64-CT: Adverse Water Quality Response

Adverse Water Quality Response (WT-64-CT):

This course will briefly cover the Safe Drinking Water Act and regulations and benefits of implementing a Quality Management System. Adverse Water Quality Incidents (AWQI) will be explained as well as adverse water quality reporting and corrective action resolution. The water treatment requirements for each category of water source will also be explained. This will then be followed by a description of secondary disinfection. The three critical water quality monitoring parameters to prevent waterborne disease outbreaks, chlorine residual testing, indicator bacteria sampling, and turbidity measurement will all be examined in detail.
