Cross Connection Control (WT-39-CT):

This knowledge-based course will allow students to gain an understanding of the importance of protecting the water supply from contamination.

What will be covered:

  • How to recognize and prevent physical and potential cross connections
  • Purpose and scope of plumbing regulations with respect to preventing contamination of water supply
  • Backsiphonage and backflow theory
  • How to prevent backflow
  • Six basic mechanical backflow prevention devices

Duration: 1 Day
