Commissioning New Water Main Systems (WD-05-HO):
This course is directed at the understanding of system layout and design; flushing/swabbing principles; the need for documentation.
What will be covered:
- Participants will design a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for swabbing of new water mains
- Learn the use of dechlorination equipment
- Calculate and super chlorinate water mains and dechlorinate systems
Materials Required:
- Approved steel-toed protective footwear
Duration: 1 Day
