Ken has worked in the industry for over 30 years, for both private contractors and in a municipality setting. With the Regional Municipality of Halton, Ken worked his way up through the ranks from Crewman (in 1980) to Sub-Foreman then to his last 9 years as Supervisor in Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection. During his tenure at Halton, Ken began to develop his instructional abilities by often “volunteering” to deliver training to operators that wished to upgrade and write their MOE exams. Anyone that volunteers to take on extra training responsibilities surely has demonstrated an above-average commitment and the desire to help others. Ken also served as an important member on the “Water Distribution Exam Review Committee” for the Ministry of Environment in 2002/2003. Entrusted to review the exams and “Need-to-Know” guidelines, the committee made several revisions to both to ensure they reflected the changing operational needs of Ontario’s water and wastewater Industry.

In addition to being a well organized problem solver with positive personal attributes, his years of experience as an operator, supervisor and contractor and importantly, his experience instructing will all be an asset to World Water Operator Training Company’s already impressive instruction staff.
