Wastewater Environmental Compliance (RM-50-CT):
This two-day workshop develops a clear understanding of the laws, requirements and responsibilities associated with compliance under environmental regulations. Participants examine the law and impacts of the law along with their roles and responsibilities. Covered are daily operational duties to spill prevention and response. This course examines key issues looking at the duties of work related to environment and the reason behind regulations. This course is designed for front line operators and managers whose daily jobs have an impact on compliance. Many topics will be covered as shown below while concentrating on the aspects of due diligence.

- Ontario Water Resources Act
- Environmental Protection Act, Federal and Provincial
- Certificate of Approvals and proper log book usage
- Operator licensing requirements
- Spill reporting and effluent standards
