Workbench Maintenance

Workbench Maintenance (WD-113-CT):

The objective of this one-day course is to provide participants with training on how to utilize a Computerized Preventative Maintenance process on plant process equipment. Operators will learn about safe work practices, power transmission, lubrication, and various pump types. There is a hands-on application to this course working with the equipment to increase learning and retention.

What will be covered:

  • Safe work practice
  • Pumps and appurtenances
  • Power transmission
  • Bearings
  • Lubrication
  • Hands-on training:
    • Tell-tale signs on ball bearings and roller bearings
    • Pulley inspection
    • V belt inspection
    • Flex coupling inspection

Duration: 1 Day                      

CEUs/Renewal Credits: 0.7 (7 Hours) in Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Yukon, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and New York.
